THE Trade Fair for Architecture and Hotel Industry
The architectureworld and Deutsche Hoteltag (German Hotel Day) will take place for the first time during ORGATEC in Cologne from 23rd to 27th October. The trade fair program plus the national and international exhibitors are THE platform for architects, planners, developers and hoteliers. During five days, the organizer, Messegesellschaft Bauen & Wohnen will be presenting a first class, comprehensive program.
The trade fairs architectureworld and Deutscher Hoteltag (German Hotel Day) are striving to convey new impulses to the professional participants such as how architecture can even be more intensively integrated into the planning of building and hotel constructions. It is exactly the networking of and within buildings which will be of prime interest here. Parallel to ORGATEC, the world’s leading trade fair for networked commercial buildings and office communication, this combination of these three specialized trade events offers a magnificent opportunity.
What requirements will be placed on façades in the next 25 years? What must be taken into consideration for the revitalization of office and hotel buildings? BIM on building structures or networking of interfaces? How will strategic spatial planning be made for healthy office and hotel environments?? FutureHotel 2030... or in which direction is hotel design currently heading?
Questions after questions at the trade fair will be discussed by top speakers from diverse fields, who afterwards will have the opportunity to ask their own controversial questions of the audience. Each of the five trade fair days will focus on a different theme – trade visitors may look forward to speakers such as: Dr. Ing. Philipp Molter, Professor of Design and Building Façades at the Technical University of Munich, Andreas Schlote, Managing Director and shareholder of REC Partners GmbH, a real estate expert and project developer with offices in Frankfurt a. M., Tom Kaden, Professor for Architecture and Wood Construction at the Technical University of Graz and shareholder at Kaden+Lager and also Dr. Jan Wurm, Director Material Consulting at ARUP, is an internationally recognized expert for the constructive use of glass for building façades. Based on his years of research, coupled with the depth of his expertise on building materials and their production and application possibilities, he has, together with industrial partners, worked on a large number of product developments. Visitors can already look forward to new impulses in the field of façade construction!
There will be a great variety of national and international exhibitors present at their exhibition stands and at the speakers’ forum to provide the latest information on innovations, individual solutions and current trends. Trade fair visitors will receive information on a wide variety of specialized topics including, for example: Roofing and support structures, building control and sensor technology, heating, air-conditioning and ventilation technology, energy and building technology, software companies and interior design.
Anyone interested in BIM software – especially tailored to their needs, for architecture in the fields of wood construction/flooring, tile systems, natural stone or lava stone slabs – the exhibitors are available for consultation with trade fair visitors on all five days.
